Noel Whelchel, M.S., Dipl. OM is a nationally certified acupuncturist and herbalist. His academic preparation includes a B.S. degree from Morehouse College and the masterÕs degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology both in Atlanta along with a masterÕs degree from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX. Noel has been a research assistant at the Southern California University of Health Sciences working on studies involving acupuncture as an adjuvant treatment for chemotherapy patients. He is also certified in Healing Community Trauma protocols by Acupuncture Without Borders. NoelÕs background includes a wealth of experiences using natural and holistic healing modalities including food therapy, diagnosis according to Five Elements Theory and Yin and Yang analysis of disease syndromes, Qigong therapy, cupping therapy, electro-stimulation, auricular acupuncture, ear seed therapy and tuina along various applications of herbal medicine. |
